Ingredients Required:-

  • Suhana Modak Peeth mix
  • Water
  • Grated coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Suhana Pure Ghee
  • Suhana Saffron

How To Cook Suhana Modak Peeth in 15 minutes:-

  1. Prepare Filling:
    • Mix grated coconut and jaggery in a bowl.
    • Cook the mixture in a pan with a dash of ghee until it thickens. Let it cool.
  2. Prepare Dough:
    • Take Suhana Modak Peeth mix in a bowl.
    • Make a smooth dough by gradually adding water and kneading. Add a teaspoon of Suhana Pure ghee for extra flavour.
  3. Shape Modaks:
    • Take a small portion of dough and flatten it in your palm to form a small disc.
    • Place a spoonful of the coconut-jaggery filling in the centre.
    • Carefully fold the edges to seal and shape them into a modak.
  4. Steam Modaks:
    • Grease a steamer plate or idli tray with ghee.
    • Arrange the modaks on it and steam for about 10-15 minutes until they are soft and cooked.
  5. Serve:
    • Once done, let them cool slightly before removing from the steamer.
    • Offer them to Lord Ganesha and enjoy this traditional Maharashtrian sweet with your family.
